Weight Loss Buddies from 2012

    just missed one day for this month?
    great. I do jazzercise for 2 to 3 days in a week, where the cardio is so intense , I could not do any more workouts at home on those days. remaining days, I try to do JM. along with let us try doing some upper body workouts - some of the links I sent with weights and without weights. If you guys are following other workouts for upper body, pls share. I am literally trying to win my genes from my mom. let us motivate each other by working how much ever we can with in our ability zone. thanks for the support Deepslikes and Sandy. meet here every single day to post our workouts.

    Hi Alpa,

    I m increased with my weight to 82 last week i was in 81. i dont know why.

    My diet plan today:

    Morning : 2 Idli with Curry
    Mid Morning : Health mix powder i made balls and having 2 in that.
    Lunch - Rice + Curry + carrot - Minimal quantity
    Mid evening - Health mix powder i made balls and having 2 in that.
    Dinner - Green gram boiled + Papaya and apple salad.

    Workout - yoga - for 40 mins
    Leisile Walk - 2 mile

    Dear Jyorat,
    always weight your self on an empty stomach in the morning, you will get your exact weight, after visiting the rest room.
    Never weigh at night. You diet is good, weekends we tend to over eat and it happens so just take it easy.

    also my arms have become bulky off late. previously though my weight was more they were not so fat. i hate to see them so, can anyone please tell me exercise perticularly for arms.

    if your upper body is weak, please you tube or google losing weight on arms and you willfind many, start using dumbells then gradually increase the number of kg like from 3kgs go to 4kgs then 5kg then to 7kg, i at the moment can carry 10kg weight, even when we go shopping and we are off loading the shopping at home i carry the 10litre oil tin, or anything that is heavy and it has made my arms strong. I also use weights from 5kg to 10kg to do my ab's exercises, it works both the ab's and the hands.

    Dear Kirti,
    i mamaged to look at the ab's ex link you had posted here but pnly half way as it took long time to buffer, the exercises are really good and you can do the same by using weights, i like the side crunches they really work on your waistline and i use 5kg weight. start with a small wiehgt like 1kg, hold one weight only with both hands. you will enjoy doing them with weights.

    Dear Akineel,
    congrats on your weight loss, you are doing great dear, keep it up. Aim for losing 250gms a week and you will see by october you would have lost weight.
    Do not give up just work hard.

    Dear Llavanya,
    your body is getting used to the exercises and your weight will go down, its your muscles that are now working, basically in the begining our body adds weight then reduces , its happens with exercising. also kirti has mentioned something about it in this thread and has opened another thread too, please read it. Be patient do not stress.
