Wedding Shopping In Chennai- Advise Pls

    Hi friends, I will be flying into Chennai in August for my wedding shopping. I need your kind input on the best places to get
    1) kanchipuram saree
    2)wedding invitation cards
    3) wedding favors to give to guests
    4) costume jewellery like odiyanam, netti sutti and sorts
    5) tailor and aari work embroider
    6) running silk material for stitching

    Hope I have not scared you off with my long list. Any little input is appreciated.

    Congrats on your wedding.
    For kanchipuram sarees, try RMKV, Sundari Silks and Palam Silks. They are my personal favorites. For more traditional designs you could also try Nalli Silks.

    Nalli also has amazing collection of running silk materials for stitching.

    Just now my sis shopping got over... According to me this time chennai silks, kumaran silks has nice collection.. accessories no prob at all whole tnagar you can try... Stitching i heard aathreya in nungambakkam is good but i havent tried it personally... if you want salwars, jeans, tops 100% i prefer you "Instore" in pondy bazzar rate is liltle high but best.
