HI: Tamanna close to Commercial Street is a good shop, more for lehengas, ghagra choli, etc. For sarees, Janardhan Sillks in Unity building on J C Road have a good collection. Then there is Shantala silks in Majestic. There is also 'Nalli' on MG road. Sindhu
Hi Visit Mysore Saree Silk Udhyog in Commercial street, they have awesome variety, style and can also find in all ranges....i find it better than deepam. Must see store.
Helo, For diamond jewellery u may visit Ganjam nagappa and sons. U can also have a few pronted silk sarees from Priyadarshini who have announced 20% genuine discount for pongal/sankranti. There are many shops in 4th block jayanagar and Basavanagudi for designer sarees and lehngas. If u have patience and dont mind negotiating on narrow lanes, u can visit chickpet area where u get all wedding sarees and dress mateirals in all the shops. This area is near majestic bus stand and anyone will guide you. wedding shoppers can have a gala getting discounts. Not to mention Nalli silks on M G Road prema raghu
hi Girija silks and Mahendra silks in malleshwaram 8th cross sells quality sarees. But for new designs Deepam in MG is also good. kalpana
I agree with you totally-very few people know of the excellent collection this shop has. Cottons=Vedantam still remains my best bet for handlooms.Signature sarees Silks:if you are looking for the truly stunning Upadas, then it is Vijiyalakshmi.Very expensive yes,but they have discount sarees too where you can pick up that beauty. Priya simran if you are looking for some new designs and different sarees Interestingly Cauvery on MG Road-a government organisation;but some fabulous collection of pure zaris and chiffon and Georgette
For my sisters wedding after exploring commercial street we did like few but were way too expensive. One of my friend suggested me a store at jay agar 4th block called ZAINA. It's a big showroom offering almost everything salwar., sarees to lehengas. We bought a lehenga heavy for around 30k & few salwars n kurtis a similar lehenga at commercial would have costed us more than 45-50k. They have got some really good stuff
