Wedding sari in chennai

Nakoda has all kinds of designer stuffs..Especially sarees are great..I have got nearly 5-6 designer sarees from them all are great after so many washes in automatic machines :thumbsup

Best item is chiffon-georgette..all light shades :crazy

My friends have got salwars too from them(material)..looks unique but dont imagine too many collections ..

Then FYI we have naidu hall now in trichy(sashtri road,opp.to KT theatre)..There are wide range fo saree collections..cotton sarees and office wears were great..salwars were of OK kind..the price is too very reasonable..

Check Nalli silks (nearby main post office/opp to jennie plaza)..I love that shop for silk cotton sarees/silk sarees and printedd/mysore silk sarees...No crowd @ all so you can shop peacefully :thumbsup

Since 90's we are shopping there..The quality of silk cotton cannot be matched with ay store(even the branch in madras)

I somehow dont like naidu hall for anything....not much satisfied with their dresses. Have not yet checked Trichy branch.

I have gone to Nalli many times......have got many silk cotton sarees...

Any landmark for nakoda? Is it in teppakulam?

 

Yes near teppakulam..Lies in the same street where shops like Agasthiar book depot,higginbothams,Sivam ..

Off-late the saree collections in Sivam is also good but they neither arrange it properly nor respond to us :rant:rant

Went to Nakoda last weekend. Picked up 3 salwars...collections were good and staff were friendly. Infact salwars are cheaper than in Chennai. I have got designer salwars from Srishthi,Anshus,Karishma..I felt Nakoda was cheaper compared to 3 shops.

My husband never allowed me to go anywhere near to the saree section :rant and so no idea about the sarees there. And the display sarees in Sivam were awesome at a quick glance. Thanks for letting me know about the shop....should go there next time with my mom for a peaceful shopping :cheers
