HI FOLKS I THINK ALL OF US CELEBRATE WEDDING ANNIVERSARIES IN THEIR OWN PERSONAL WAY..MY DH IS IN A VERY BUSY BUSINESS..WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A CHANCE TO TAKE LEAVE ON THAT DAY..BUT ONCE IN 6 OR 7 YEARS IT HAPPENS TO FALL ON HOLIDAY.I THINK WE GOT 4 SUCH DAYS IN THESE 21 YEARS.THIS IS HOW WE CELEBRATED THOSE 4 RARE OCCASIONS: *WE WENT TO A BEACH RESORT *PERFORMED A KALYANAM IN THE LOCAL TEMPLE.. *WENT TO A RESORT NEAR ANNAVARAM TEMPLE.. *HAD A SMALL GATHERING WITH BOTH OF OUR FAMILY MEMBERS SO NOW LET US SHARE YOUR WAYS OF CELEBRATION TOO SO THAT OTHERS GET :goodidea:
Hi laxmi, My state should not happen to any one.. I felt a lot on the day because i was in India and my DH was in U.S then how to celebrate anniversary... What to do so just went to temple and offered lunch for an orphanage home... But i will be joining my DH this october (it should happen soon) so we have lots of plans for my birthday which will be coming this November ...planning to celebrate both the anniversary and my birthday on the same day... Let me hope it should turn to be a fabulous one...still keeping my fingers crossed...
I'm very sorry for you Mathanggi...but all the best for your b-day..wishing for a double celebration..
yeah, these small celebrations bring the hidden memories back. We had only one anniversary till now and it was a good celebration indeed. Husband side never party or celebrate , so I was not expecting anything from him. on marriage day , we went to temple, cut a small cake in the afternoon and headed for a restaurant in the evening. night just freshened our memories watching marriage CD :thumbsup hope to celebrate next anniversaries in more exciting way
