weather in east coast...

    we recently moved to philadelphia area..from west coast
    planning to invite our inlwas from india, during first week of february..

    please let me know, how is the weather here in east coast, going forward, so that i could
    take them to virginia, niagara, washington dc..etc

    You will find cold temperatures to be cold mostly until mid April sometimes even until end of april...In 2008 I went to Niagara on May 31 and it was slightly chilly and we had to wear light jackets..

    Niagara is closed until (August I guess), not too sure about the month. But its deadly cold there. VA, DC are chilly too, but good coats, nice gloves, caps and boots should do it.

    February can be bad....you never know. It can be clear or you can be buried in snow so travel is never predictable and temperatures can be sub zero. Jan/Feb are the worst months. If you travel by train you can always go although if irs really snowy you might not want to. Right now there is a fare sale on Amtrak.com in case you are interested. Why don't you go to Florida to Disney?
