    Dear Ooviya,it's my pleasure.

I have this habit of sharing whatever good things I know.Every day when I open Indus Ladies website,I learn a lot of good things. So,I am keen in sharing a few good things I know.

You need to contact a Tupperware consultant. She can get you the spare parts by ordering.

    Dear Ooviya,

Yes,you can get all Tupperware spare parts.

Don't forget to mention the exact measurement of the container. If possible, send the container too with the Tupperware consultant.

    Good Luck.

Hello Kishoremommy........Thank you for wonderful tips.....even iam using TW containers for storing provisions, Dosa / idly batter, Oil etc....for last 10yrs......Yes, definitely it is very good

But, my Dry storage containers are looking dull and old now...... can i able to replace it ??? or anyways to get it look little good..

I use Red Canisters for storing left out food items like sambar / kootu and next day whenever i want i will reheat it with the same container........is it OK?? and now these containers have that food marks inside...how to take it out ( hope same method,as u mentioned in ur first post, i can use it for cleaning this also )

I have kept pickles and Tender mango ( maavadu) for long time in TW container......but those container, after cleaning looks yellow or red in colour - inside the container and that colour is not going.....what to do

    Dear Latha,

    Thanks .Yes,Tupperware is really good.

There is no replacement for dull looks.

But,you can try the method I told.Add two spoons of vinegar along with the warm water mixture.

You might have used abrasive scrubbers or detergents in the past. That generally results in dull looks.

Even after trying that method,if your containers donot look good, then get new ones.

Don't worry .You need not throw them. You can always use Tupperware for other purposes too.

1.You can store camphors, kumkum, sandal wood powder, turmeric etc,.As the containers are airtight your pooja items will last longer and retains their fragrance for a longer time.

2.You can store shampoo+water mixture and use them directly.

3.You can store silver articles to prevent discolouration.

4.You can carry medicines ,syrups while travelling without risking spilling.

5.You can keep your important documents to prevent discolouration.

    6.You can store CDs.
