Maybe in the future will do laser but I do waxing once in a while.problem is once the growth starts sprouting it’s very prickly.As for shaving it has to be done often but still okay.. major problem is underarms. How to get a clean look coz I cannot rush to the parlour every time I wear sleeveless.. Which shaver is the best or trimmer?
I only shave. I use a Venus 5-blade razor and change the blades very frequently. One quick swipe every couple of days and it’s done.
Pretty much same as what MalStrom wrote. Few swipes with the Venus 5-blade razor and refills bought from Costco. Skintimate shaving gel. The black follicles are still visible against the pale skin even after a close shave. Used to bother me long ago, not any more. Neither does the nearby upper-arm wiggle-jiggle. : )
So true Rihana..Infact I sometimes feel Will just wear full tops and jeans throughout the year..no need to shave or wax..honestly dressing interest have come down drastically plus we can save money
Do you notice any color changes in your skin? I do shave and I notice dark color in my arms and legs after few days of shaving. Also, new hair growth will be sharp and pricky. I don't shave often. So until the hair is grown out, I feel embarrassed if I get to meet any friends or they visit without any notice. Because my hair in the hands will be sharp and like strawberry hair. Feel awkward if they touch the hands while talking. Does frequent shaving will remove this problem? Mine becomes very dark in the arms and underarms. I used to wax when I was in India. After moving to US,I am only shaving. Don't know if shaving is the reason for this skin color change. Never tried waxing here. I do have an epilator but I use that rarely.
I wear full hand tops and jeans/ leggings most of the time as I want to cover the hairs. I have hairs on my legs which I am tired of shaving. I have an epilator but not using frequently. The shaving causes some color change on my skin, so I shave only when I need to go out for any event or party which is not frequent at all. Other times for shopping and stuff, I cover my hands and legs completely when I go out.
I had the same issues but once I started using the epilator, the skin texture improved and upon regular usage the hair becomes softer and hair growth is also reduces. Except for the first time, the pain of epilating was way lesser than waxing as well.
I use epilator but it causes nasty ingrown hair on inner thighs I will experiment with multi blade shaving head and shaving gel on legs at least
I got laser done on underarms. Was expensive but best $$$ I spent. Now I can wear sleeveless whenever But before that it was exclusive waxing for me. So smooth no ingrowns
