i am also not an expert in drawings. sometimes i get it, sometimes i spoil my work.
so i hope you will bear with my bla...blaaaa......
the tree is excellent. it is so neatly finished, shadings are beautifully merged. painting is very natural. angle of portraying it is also nice. it is as if a mature artist has done this piece.
the flower too looks pretty with good colour combo. outline is sharp and good. the veins in the leaves too look natural.
but the shading in the flower painting needs to be merged nicely. there should be a gradual increase in shade colour. this itself will bring a natural look to the petals, leaves and the stalk. also the place where the leaves rise out of the stalk should be made in a natural way. i hope i am of some use to you. i also struggle to give a natural look to my drawings. you can find these drawbacks in my sketchings too. please do not mistake me. i never mean that way. but dont stop with this work. please keep painting more and more. you can search in youtube sites where there will be clear video demonstrations on water colour paintings.
