    Hi,

I am in my 21st week of my pregnancy. My DH is very keen on watching the latest 'Avatar' movie. I feel the sound effects might be harmful for the baby at this stage. Someone please throw some light on this..

Divya it depends on you if you are comfortable to sit for a long period of time. I had gone to theater till I was in week 35. We figured we may not be able to go to movies for a long time once LO is born so we went.
Many of my friends have gone till they were due so no harm. Enjoy while you can :thumbsup.

Your baby is well protected inside...So there is as such no harm..
Even I went to movies late in my pregnancy...

So enjoy the movie while you can..Later on anyways you cannot go unless someone is taking care of your baby!

    Hi Divya,
i went to movie last saturday itself. So if u think u can be comfortable then u can go. I dont think going to movies will harm the baby in any sense.

    divya,
it is depend on your mind set.if you like that type of movie you can go.
and alo it depends on your health, can you stay for three hours in a place, because every one have each type of problem at the time of pregnancy.you decide yourself .

Thankyou so much for the responses.I had watched movies in my last pregnancy. But this movie,I was a bit skeptical as it had the 3d effects and all.

My DH will be very happy to hear this.

    Divya,

I watched Avatar in IMAX.. My boy was all thrilled with the sounds and simulation. He was jumping with thrill ! :)

It is a good movie and am sure your baby will enjoy it too !! Just make sure, you take a lot of eatables. It is a long movie and I was hungry like crazy and this boy got hyper acive too !
