wat sweet is this'?

    Hey,
    Does any one know what this sweet is?
    It looks like fine semiya, but its not payasam, its colourful and its like a lot of the semiya made in circles, its dry sweet, but very tasty, the last time i had it was in bangalore... any idea wat it is... ?[​IMG]i m trying hard to find wat it is!

    I think you are talking about Chirotti; usually served at festivals and weddings and you got to add hot/cold milk and eat with sugar.

    I think it is called 'Padhir Peni'...
    You mix it with hot milk and sugar, right?
    try searching in google images...its the first image

    I think chitoti quite fits your description - if you eat it with hot/cold milk.
    Though I haven't seen colourful chiroti (oly seen and eaten white) but they definitely look like dried sevai!

    Yes, it should be pathir peni, nowadays it is being served in weddings, but do you like the taste, I don't like it even if it is mixed with hot/cold milk and sugar....
