want to start my career after a very long gap

can someone guide me how can i start my career life again after almost 10year of gap. i have done b.tech and now i want to make my career in It industry but i am not sure how to start with it. do i need to do some course or masters since i do not have a relevant work experience in this field? if so, how and where to look for these courses? i live in Arizona last 4years.
