    Hi all ILites,

    I want to ,infact I need to, learn Marathi.
    I am Maratha kshatriya born and brought in A.P.
    So I dont know Marathi. I can understand it and I can talk very few words of it:cry::cry::cry:
    can you ladies help me out in this?
    can you pls suggest some books or links ? or is there any link in IL for such purpose!!!!!!!!

    :thumbsupYou cannot kearn marathi through books. You have to be practical. Either you have to join classes or through TV channels. One thing you can do is to hang around with your marathi boy friend who speaks marathi:thumbsup:thumbsup

    good evening my self anil agarwal.
    nd i m frm bscly rajesthan. so thats same prblm with me its before but i try to conversation with others im marathi nd read regularly some mararathi news pepars. nd see marathi movie nd try to speak in marathi nd i got it. so u fst try it practical.

    nice to know u want to know ur mother tongue ..
    when u practice it enough . listening to marathi songs , seeing marathi movies , talking to neighbours in marathi u will get better .

    I am still practising it yaar :).
    Once it is done I will certainly do as what you said.
    Unfortunately, I have no marathi speaking neighbours.
    But from now I can converse with Shubhangi and learn it quickly :)
