    Dear IL-ites....

    Of late, I could find many of IL-ites could not find their Kuladevatha either due to non-information to them by their elders at house, or due to wrong information and simply following the information passed in by in-laws.

    As many of your aware even for any family rituals, one use to go to Kuladeivam due to the Significance and importance in traditions and customary to get permission in one way or the other.

    But due to cosmopolitan way of living and due to the impact of western culture, many are not aware of the impact of the Deities, which were worshiped traditionally.

    In order to weed off all the negative energies, worship of Kula-Devatha forms an important role in one's life.

    This thread is specially for those who do not know their kula devatha could place their query with birth details of the family members, so that it would be replied at the most suitable time.

    Let me start my prayers with my Kula Deivam Sri Swaminatha Swamy of Swamimalai to bless all the IL-ites in finding out their Kula Devatha.

    Head of the family (husband) - DoB, PoB, ToB
    Wife - DoB, PoB, ToB

    I guess you require Husband Father and Mother's details too

    DoB - Date of Birth
    PoB - Place of Birth
    ToB - Time of Birth (Preferably mentioning in 24 hour format)

    Born on Mithuna Lagna, simha rasi and pooram natchatram,
    Kuladevatha is a Female goddess.

    Its amman with 3 deities in the premises amidst a dense thorns and bushes
    Deity is facing east and has 2 entrances to the temples
    The temple is located just 3 kms from the place of birth of his Grandfather

    The deity is not being worshipped for the past 3 generations.

    Hope the above details would be suffice.

    Dear sir,


    Even we are not aware of Kuladeivam. We are naidu, and we pray to Lord Veeraragava as kuladeivam. Recently ,one of our close member mentioned us that our kuladeivam is Female Goddess after seeing my FIL's horoscope, but didnt mention which one. Could u please find out?
