    Ideas reqd for curtains-buying/custom made

    Hello ladies,
How are you all?I'm hoping that you can give some suggestions for my problem. The curatins provided by my house owner are very thin and I want to replace them . One more thing that is that the curain rods in this house are the old ones,so I cant use the readymade curtains(the ones with loops) The ones I got from India are ok,but the length of the windows is more than the curtain length,so I cant use them. What should I do?
    1) One idea is to get curtain cloth which goes with my curtains and get them attached(stitched) to the existing curtains to make them longer.
    2) Buy cloth at a shop and get t new curtains custom stitched.
Option 2 will work out very costly. For option 1,I dont know how to go about it,where to find cloth and where to get it stitched? Does anyone know any shop where the rates are reasonable?
    Or any other options?\

    Thanks,
    Rachana
