Hi Bhar, Congrats!! May be u can still do the treadmill but at a lower speed and elevation. Chech with your doc and perhaps they can suggest other exercises. Blessings! OOPALL.
thanks dears... I am just TTC and i also had this in mind!! and moreover i am going to some dance classes as well..is that ok!! will jumping and lots of shaking affect the chances of conceiving? Thanks!!
Why to walk on treadmill if the weather is okay i mean not too cold or hot then its always better to walk in fresh air.If you can't then its okay if you do it at a comfortable pace. You have to listen to your body.If its uncomfortable to you at any point of time then stop it.Also every day is different from other and pre pregnancy and post pregnancy is a big difference. One day you feel energetic and other day you feel tired.its okay to take rest when your body wants you to.Don't pressurize yourself and in pregnancy not at all. You can also try prenatal yoga. Also whatever you do keep yourself hydrated during work outs.Don't drink too much but keep on taking one one sip.
nice reply Nandini i guess finally its only simple walking outside in park or garden is what is going to help and be safe too !! pls tell where to learn prenatal yoga ??
Even I was doing treadmill before pregnancy. But my dietitian asked me not to it in first trimester cos thread mills have magnetic strips and generally not recommended. So i used to jog in park.
oh thanks shilpa for sharing ur drs suggestion about using treadmill during first trimester... :hiya is it ok to use after first trimester or it is complete no no throughout pregnancy ??
Search on google in your area where the prenatal yoga classes are available. In starting do it only under the supervision of an experienced instructor. Swimming and water exercises are also safe during pregnancy but still for the safer side talk to your doctor about it before starting anything. On youtube i saw some baba Ramdev yoga for pregnant women videos and asanas he was telling were very simple for anybody.See this link- YouTube - Baba Ramdev -Yoga for Pregnant Women (Part 1) YouTube - Baba Ramdev -Yoga for Pregnant Women (Part 2)
