:hello: WHY YOU LOVE READING BOOKS :hello:

I have read lots of books but forgotten most of them. What's the purpose of reading?
A young boy once told his wise older teacher:

I have read a book but it didn't stick to my memory. what is the purpose of reading then?

The teacher asked his student to get a date and eat it.

    Then he asked him:

Has the date helped you to grow immediately?

    Absolutely not!

The date you have just eaten provided your skin, bones, muscles and nerves with nutrients and many benefits.

You didn't feel it, but it happened.

This famous Arabic story somehow shows how reading works to improve us.

Every book you read helps you to build new vocabulary, learn new information, improve your writing skills, as well as your critical thinking skills, understanding of the world. . . and the list goes on.

Every book you read makes you a better human being regardless of whether you were conscious of it or not!
