Hi, Does any one know if there wud be any problem sending my parents for visa interview when iam here (iam on h4 and came for vacation) however, my hub going to send the docs and all, just wondering if there is any problem sending my paretns for the interview since iam here in india and will be for couple of months (I have to go for stamping, too)
Hey Deepti, There wont be any problem at the VISA center, however there could be a problem with the visa processing at embassy if you fail to produce proper documents. To be on the safer side check that you have submitted the following documents 1. Letter to the immigration officer stating Reason of stay for your parents, duration, where will they be staying and who will take care of their living and medical expense during the stay. 2. Provide proof of your accomodation like tenancy agreement, Rent receipts etc 3. Copy of utility bills that you pay 4. Bank statement There could be more things also required but these are mandatory Sanjay
