Jai Sairam Myself and my husband are devotees of Saibaba and hope to visit him soon with our 1 yr old daughter. She was born in Canada during winter and is not yet accustomed to Indian weather, yet. Also the crowd in the queue, might be a problem. In any case, her temper tantrums are something, that we are greatly worried about. While we were visiting in the past (2yrs back), we had seen people making special entrances to get his grace. We don't know how to avail that facility or whom to approach regarding this. Please feel free to give any suggestions, that could help our stay in Shirdi. Its been 2 years and we really long to visit his mandir.... Thanks in advance...
Weekdays are usually not that crowded, except on Thursdays. Just go through the normal Q. You can reach the sanctum sanctorum very fast. Happy Darshan ! Be careful about the vendors. If you want to take anything from baba, buy from whichever place you are starting from.
@Sairoopha Do not worry we took our 2 year baby last year. The crowd moved fast, and as we weere in aarti session, it was a huge crowd. Otherwise you can be free from worries. Mothers with kids like me sat on the floor, and I too coz couldnt stand with a sleeping baby. You will finish the darshan in 1/2 an hour if you are going on a weekday, and not during the aartis.
Dear @Sairoopha, Sai Ram. I give below the link. Please go through and follow the instructions as contained in post no:4 of the thread. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/r...32-special-note-devotees-visiting-shirdi.html May Sai Baba bless you, your DH and the baby with a good darshan and also be with you throughout the pilgrimage and thereafter in life.
you can also avail VIP passes if there is crowd, but i dont think you will need them. As, week days it is quite easy to get darshan. You don't worry, there management is very helpful to the visitors.you can also book a room online in there guesthouse at a very low prices as compared to the market. They provide a very good service for outsiders.
