Dear Chitra Mam, Thanks for the post, it completely slipped out of my mind that today is Vaikunta Ekadashi.i remember ekadasi coming in the last week of Dec or first week of jan for the past couple of years but this year so early..... when i am in india we use to have a Dawara Darshanam of THE LORD in the early mornings. today i didnt get a chance to visit the temple but by seeing the pics which you posted, felt that i had the darshanam.Thankyou so much!!!
Dear Chithra mam, As usually its great post!!!!!! :hatsoff:hatsoff:hatsoff:hatsoff:hatsoff:hatsoff nice to know about Ekadashi millions of thanks to u !!! for this post and pic. with love, Sri
Dear Chithra Thanks for writing about this important day and festival and fast and meditation that needs to be observed. Also thanks for the pictures. You have made a special day even more special by this thread and all info provided.
Dear Chitra, Heard very late from my mom abt this.....felt bad that i could not fast....anywy th atmosphere here is not conducive for such things too....but did pray a bit and talked abt this festival.... Great write up...glad that i could read abtVishnu before going to bed at least!
Dear Gayathri, Your first para makes very interesting reading ! I have never entered thro "swarga vasal" ! If you cross first half of the day, you should be able to manage and go to sleep early, to resist temptation ! Love, Chithra.
Dear Sreelatha, Thanks. When you live in India, paricularly Chennai, no important day escapes your attention ! Love, Chithra.
Dear Sri, Thanks for joining us here. Vishnu & V Ekadashi are great ! So my post made good reading !! Love, Chithra.
Dear Sudha, I loved the practical way, you have written about this post. Fasting can be done only if all "circumstances" are favourable, I am aware ! Good enough if you prayed to Vishnu on His special day. Thanks, Sudha. Love, Chithra.
Dear Chittu mami, Sorry for the delay in my response. Your writeup asusual was v. superb:hatsoff:hatsoff:hatsoff:hatsoff:hatsoff. Yesterday could not go to temple but went on a partial fast like skipped breakfast & dinner and no rice. I always felt that God should be realised with oneself hence visiting temple is not an important criteria but I will go on a lesser crowded days so that I can literally be with HIM. Anyway seeing your photos I could bring the Lord in all his glory in my mind and contemplate on him. Expecting more especially for Tiruvadharai which is on 24th (A small writeup about the festival also would be :welcome) Luv Lalitha
