Manali.. I tried the peas soup inspired by ur photo.. but didnt achieve the same color.. may be bcoz I used dried peas.. looking fwd to many of ur soup recipes & photos.. also post some recipe for weight watchers
@Sravani and Anusha: Peda is very simple to make...You can in fact make it in microwave with milk powder and condensed milk...mix and add cardmom powder and decorate with nuts.. I made this in pan...had frozen khoya/mawa... used 150 gm almost...let the frozen khoya come to room temperature... put 1 tsp ghee in pan...put khoya in it..and then add milk...1/2 cup i used..(not sure about the exact measurement)...I added like that from the bottle...so yeah add milk and then keep stirring it for 5-6 minutes..make sure khoya doesn't burn...you can add little ghee if you feel like it's going to burn.. take is out on a plate...let it cool down a bit..till the time you can touch it with hands and make pedas...so when it's slightly warm (do not let it cool down..just warm) add sugar (1/2 cup) and cardmom powder (1/2 tsp)..mix everything and make pedas...decorate with nuts on top! simple and easy!

I came here to post a picture and saw your comment... wait till you see what I'm going to post :drowning Here you are asking me for soup recipes and I keep on making all unhealthy stuff :rant Seriously I need to stop myself from cooking all this..*sigh* What to do...cooking gives me such a high..difficult to control and now I am planning to make pav bhaji for dinner...even god can't save me :drowning :bonk @Soup: yeah might be the case! I used frozen peas...ok here's one soup which I used to make when I was trying to lose weight... take some moong dal (1-2 tbsp) put chopped garlic, onion, veggies whatever you have...put all this in pressure cooker...add some water and let it whistle 3-4 times...after the steam goes off...blend the mixture...now put the mixture in pan..you can add water according to the consistency you want..put salt and pepper...and also if u want...take 1 tsp oil..add curry leaves/mustard seeds and a put a tadka in soup... garnish with coriander...you can add some lemon juice too...it's good and healthy!
