    how did you make the paste at home? Pasta maker... I have never done that. Is it hard?

    [FONT=&quot]1 med. onion
    2 cups of chopped cabbage
    1 -2 tomatoes (optional – This time I did not use)
    Salt to taste

    [FONT=&quot]1tsp - mustard[/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]1tsp - Jeera
    1/4 tsp. pepper (optional)
    Green chilli (cut into 4-5 pieces)

    [FONT=&quot]¼ cup – milk [/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]Grated coconut – 2 tbsp or use coconut milk
    [/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot][/FONT] [FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]Chopped the cabbage and cooked it separately in Microwave (To save time ..)

    [FONT=&quot] Fry Jeera and mustard in a spoon of oil and add the chopped onion and tomato(if you are going to use ) to it and allow it to cook. Now add the cooked cabbage and and ¼ cupt of water to it. After 4-5 mins, reduce the heat add coconut milk or grated coconut with milk (This time, I used grated coconut and ¼ cup of milk to the mixture). Sprinkle ¼ tsp of pepper on it and stir it well. Add coriander leaves/Curry leaves to garnish the Stew.[/FONT]

    Dear Usha

    As it is (was) a special day for us ... I got "special" permission !! :)

    I did not use coconut milk, i used milk with grated coconut for preparing this dish. :hiya We went to shopping (special) last weekend to buy grated coconut !!! In the last 6months, this is second time, we are taking coconut in our menu.
