Mohana, the leaves are from my banana plant. You can get frozen banana leaves from korean market (grand mart or h mart in washington d.c area). Madhu, thanks for the feed back.

Dear Srilatha,Kamala,madhu,Blondie and Mohana, Thanq so much for the feedback.Yes,i too felt at home celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi traditionally.Blondie,ur pictures reminded me the bananna leaves.Thanx for sharing the picture.In india,during festivals,we use for pujas etc , and also have food in bananna leaves.I saw frozen bannana leaves in Indian stores here.Can u please tell me if u have ever tried using for eating food ,puja etc?
