    the leaves are from my banana plant. You can get frozen banana leaves from korean market (grand mart or h mart in washington d.c area).

    I just could not believe these pics from US. I am so happy to see them. They brought back all my child wood memories from <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region><st1:place>India</st1:place></st1:country-region>.     Thanq so much for the feedback.Yes,i too felt at home celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi traditionally.Blondie,ur pictures reminded me the bananna leaves.Thanx for sharing the picture.In india,during festivals,we use for pujas etc , and also have food in bananna leaves.I saw frozen bannana leaves in Indian stores here.Can u please tell me if u have ever tried using for eating food ,puja etc?
