I said I am sorry But it doesn't mean its true I said I am sorry It doesn't mean I like you I tricked you and got What I wanted You thought you were Finally happy Your joy duly flaunted You stupid fool you fell for my tricks You stupid food you are sick sick sick Your family wanted to you get married They didn't want to see you old and harried Instead you chose me rather than the local boys But you were just a cog in my ploy You thought you would get justice You thought you would see vengeance But your so-called-god is on my side And will not be affected By any of your penance I am not sorry I will get married soon I will have a wife Who is younger and prettier Than you I am not sorry It is too late I am not sorry Your desperate family Sealed your fate Scene from Disney's Frozen
It is all bachelor’s woes. A spinster (bachelorette) perhaps see through the mind of a young man rejected for his alleged deficiencies turns confident to discover his partner for life. The mood and place beautifully set with embellishments. But then from where he imagines food to be sick sick sick? Anyways I grant full marks for the structure and body. Regards.
LOL, it is not "food", it is "fool". It was a typo as I was rushing on the keyboard. Thank you for your wonderful words. I glad you appreciated the poem.
