Verses from the Holy Quran.

Our Lord! Lay not upon us such a burden as You did lay upon those before us. [Qur'an 2:286]



Will they not then ponder on the Quran? If it had been from other than God they would have found therein much contradiction and incongruity. [Qur'an 4:82]

 

Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the life to come and keep us safe from the torment of the Fire [Qur'an 2:201]



Say: "O people of the Book! Come now to a word common between us and you, that we serve none but God, and that we associate not anything with Him, and do not some of us take others as lords, apart from God." [Qur'an 3:64] "Alif Laam Raa. A book which we have revealed to you (Muhammad) so that you may lead the people from out of the darknesses into the light by their Lord's leave to the path of the All-Mighty, the Praiseworthy." [Qur'an 14:1]

 

Surah Al-Ikhlaas:

1. Say (O Muhammad ()): "He is Allah, (the) One.

2. "Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).

3. "He begets not, nor was He begotten;

4. "And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."

Quran verses about entering someone's Home:

O you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted those in them, that is better for you, in order that you may remember.

And if you find no one therein, still, enter not until permission has been given. And if you are asked to go back, go back, for it is purer for you, and Allah is All-Knower of what you do.

(Surah An-Nur, verse 27-28)

 

Invoke your Lord with humility and in secret. He likes not the aggressors.

(Surah Al-A'raf, verse 55)

 

"There is no creature on Earth except that its sustenance is upon Allah. He knows its habitation and its repository. All is in a clear Record." [Sûrah Hûd: 6]

 

The Day of Judgment is Near:

These people say to you, "When will the promise (of Resurrection) be fulfilled if you are truthful?" Say, "For you the appointment of a day is fixed, which you can neither hold back for an hour (or a moment) nor hasten on by an hour (or a moment)."

(surah Saba, verse 29-30)

 

*Let him speak goodness or be silent* {Quran, Surah Fatir 35:3}

 

Today Verse:

 

Valentine's Day... Mother's Day... Father's Day...New Year's Day... Birthdays... Grandparent's Day... etc.... etc.... Most of us remember and care about them very well, some even celebrate them.... BUT... what about 'JUDGEMENT DAY'...? Does anyone remember, care & work for it? Or are we being distracted by "holidays"? THINK ABOUT IT.
