vericose vein in pregnancy

    hi
    i am 7 months pregnant.i am having a 2yrs old baby girl..first was a c sec delivery..from the beginning of the 7th month my nerves behind the legs,thighs han become swollen n dark colour..even under my tummy nerves r swollen..i feel pain in those areas..anyone faced this prob in preg...pls tell a remedy

    hi thenmozhi!!! vericose veins are one of the various side effects of pregnany.

    though i dont have these but have read a lot about these on the internet.

    remedies for this include:

    -not standing for long hours

    - prop up your legs when you sit and dont let them hand down for a long period of time.

    - wear stockings as these will support your legs.

    - drink plenty of water

    - do brisk walk regularly.
