    Hello Krishnamma gaaru,

    Very very nice post. You have posted wonder vathal recipes. I am a crazy fan of Vathals. I have tried the rice flour, onion puree + chillipowder vathal...it turned out to be super hit and thank you so much.

    Thank you for the recipe, I have been wanting to make vathal for so long. Live in China and here we have plenty of sun so tried Javarisi vadam from your recipe. The taste was superb but when fried it turns brown and stick to teeth, what have I done wrong please help.

    In this thead, I gave the entire process of making kuzhu vathal maavu. that is the first vathal of this thead. please check :)

    That is because of the quality of the Javarisi not your problem. next time change the brand of Javarisi :)

    Hi Krishnamma,
    I made your Kuzhul vathal yesterday and they turned out really good. only change i made was adding more sabudana. my measurement was one cup rice flour and half cup sabudana. they were really tasty.
