Ladies My mom is a RD (retinal detachment) patient for a little less than a decade now. Her vision was around 50% when it started and now it has deteriorated after a few years. Doctors say its due to the cataract that is formed. While she is ready to go for a surgery, corner of our heart, we are all worried on how the eye that already has retinal problems would stand cataract. For the same worry, different doctors have different opinion. Some say they cannot give 100% assurance that she would react the way other cataract patients would. Some say retinal issues wouldn't come in the way of cataract and that they are experts to handle it. Since the cataract cannot be left unattended for long, we are now planning to go for cataract surgery. So far mom has been consulting with Sankara Nethralaya, but thats far from our house when it comes to surgery. We also want another opinion. How is Vasan eye care Adyar? What about the cost aspects? Any reviews and pointers will help. TIA.
Hi Friend, By the way! Being well and taking care of your eyes is in your hand. Who are you going to believe, me or your own eyes? Eye care is better than eye cure….. Vitamins A, E, and C all appear to offer benefits for overall eye health. Eating healthy food that includes green veggies and fresh fruits and fish rich in omega 3 fatty acid is very good for your eyes. Maintaining healthy height to weight ratio is a must. Choose an exercise with consult with your doctor and fitness instructor. Thanks
