vaccination during 7th month

    hello,
    is there any vaccination during 7 month ? my chennai paed siad that vaccination is only during 9th month , my gynae also said that in 9th month only i have to put vaccination, but in the handbook of my trichy paed says that there is a vaccination called influenza for 7 th month.
    pls clarify

    Here in the U.S, after the 6th month appt, the next appt. is only @ 9 months and then 12 months.
    Not sure about how it works there in India!. May be that is just the flu vaccine which might be optional??

    Influenza ia a completely optional vaccine in India and the flu season is long over so there is no real need to give it now.

    DD missed her scheduled measles vaccination at 9 months... now i am wondering if the same can be given at 11.5 months?
    i cant imagine we missed this!!
    any advices, pls?

    Poonam - yes, give it now. Doesnt matter that you missed it but give it now as MMR isnt given until 15 mnths.

    vanathi would she have fever etc? tyhen i would wait until friday as wkends we are many of us to handle her

    No fever for measles in majority of kids. rarely you can get a mild fever with rash 2-3 days after the vaccine.
