Dear all, I am travelling to NZ for vacations in the month of June. I would like to know how is the weather during that time of the year so that I can select my outfits. Thanks!
June is the start of winter in NZ. Depending on the places you intend to visit, it will be cold, colder or freezing You will need proper winter clothing - warm inner layer, and warm jacket/sweatshirt. Choose thin multiple layers of clothing rather than bulky single pieces. It will be easier to adjust the level of warmth that you need as well as easier to pack or wash. Given that winter is the flu season, I would also suggest a precautionary flu shot.
