    Dear TDU
Yes it's a very cute sign indeed. And the younger the kid, the cuter does the sign get!
I could not come online because for a change, it was my PC that fell ill!

    Dear Malspie
    Nice to see you back!
It is obvious that body language is getting to be more popular and effective now. Decades back, people used only thier mouth to communicate but now they use as many parts of their body as possible!
But I still feel that eyes are the most effective medium to communicate particularly for a pretty young girl!

    Dear Sudha
Keep us posted of the result of your exam in German language!
There is no V sound in German? Then how do you spell Vivekananda? As Fowfowkananda?
For that matter even Bengali doesnt have a V sound but the Bengalis are closer home with pronouncing it B than the Germans pronouncing it Fow! If they want to say wow, do they say Fowow?

    Dear Sir Sir
I did not know that Bengalis did not have V sound. Thats why my Bengali friends call my son Barun instead of Varun. Thanks for enlightening me.!!

    Dear Kamal
After going through all the FBs to this post of mine, I have come to know that the V sign conveys a lot more feelings than any other sign in existence. Its neutrality covering both good and bad things really amazes me.
    A V for the V sign!

V is for survival ? Hmmm. An out-of-the-box explanation by the youth.

To Amma in tamilnadu a V is rather green and botanical.

To a playful young person posing in a group photo, a V held behind an unsuspecting friend's head is a bakra's horns.

To the ever fresh-looking moms in yellow sarees in ad campaigns , V is Two Minutes , either for noodle-making or getting a blackened kadai sparkling clean.

    To a Bharatnatyam dancer, V is a mudra .

Here's a V (with the old fashioned widely accepted meaning ) for your articles on such unusual topics.
