look for coupons in flyers that are mailed to you or you find in stores. google online for sales, for example macys has a one or two day sale 40 - 50% off on certain days of the year. costco is good for buying some things in bulk. shop around, walmart and target are usually cheaper than most other stores. if you look around there are always sales on, keep your eyes open, always ask for 'any extra discounts' when you are buying anything from any store.
OP, Also look for end of season sales. Like in March for winter wear and July Aug for summer wear. They are the cheapest months for either. Go to each store and subscribe for mailing lists. They will send coupons.Coupons from clothes to grocery to kitchen items you name it you get it.Good Luck.
