Urgent--Doubts on visitor visa

Hi IL's

I am planning to take visa for my mother and my grandma..I have the following doubts regarding their visa

1) In immihelp.com it is mentioned "If parent has more than 1 child in US provide proof of legal status of all children". I have my sister here in the US.What document should i provide as proof for this?

2) In I-134 form qn 9 asks about previously submitted affidavit.We have already taken visa for our in-laws 2 years back.Should we mention those details here?

3) In I-134 form there is a question about life insurance amount .Can we mention about the insurance in India or only in the US?

4) should we provide translation for the invitation letters since only my grandma doesnt understand english?

5) Can we fill the DS-160 form online by ourselves and fix the appointment online? any recent experiences?

Please clarify.Thanks in advance

A) No need to submit any document, while filling in form state their visa staus, thats enough. Even my sister was on GC while i inivted myparents, i mentioned that.

2) In I-134 form qn 9 asks about previously submitted affidavit.We have already taken visa for our in-laws 2 years back.Should we mention those details here?

A) Yes , it is good to mention. Even we invited at the same time my parents and inlaws. But as parents had already passport ready, we submitted affidavit for them some 1 month before. Once my inlaws are ready with their passpost, we mentioned in that form about our parents affidavit, though it was just 1 month before.

3) In I-134 form there is a question about life insurance amount .Can we mention about the insurance in India or only in the US?

A) Yes we can mention about about the Insurance in India, We did it. It will show them your financial strongeness.

4) should we provide translation for the invitation letters since only my grandma doesnt understand english?

A) I guess no need, anyway check this will anyone. As in my case, my father and fatherinlaw was able to read to some extend, we just sent it in english itself. Just my mother and mil stood by their husband's side.

5) Can we fill the DS-160 form online by ourselves and fix the appointment online? any recent experiences?

A) We filled ourself and fix the appointment, but this was in 2008April, so wait for recent experience.
