He is vijima. He is.

 

Yes, going through was traumatic and very terrible. But i am glad i am out of it.

During those early days i used to sit and plot in my mind as to how to take revenge on him for all that he put me through. There would be days and days i would just stare into void and this hatred would consume me like anything.

But later, with my husband's help, i let go of the anger and the revenge thoughts. And slowly I stopped obsessing over him and started living my life. I reached the end of my college days and i had to concentrate on my career and my life. I started falling in love with this guy and life just took a turn for better. I mean he still tried to mess with me but i stopped caring or giving a damn about it. I just lived my life in the way i wanted to live.

But life i guess is never unfair. Call it god or universe or karma took over things. He is now black sheep of the family. Everyone in the extended family hates him and doesnt respect him anymore. And i never even spoke about what happened to me. I donot know what he did other than this but just that whatever he did must not have been good. Though he is one of the most educated in the family, he now spends his days roaming around the city in AC buses and doing nothing productive.

I guess the best way to give back to people like these are to start living our life in our terms. I did. Ofcourse i had support and help from my husband but still letting go of the negative emotions helped.

 

All the posts here are very touching. Experiences shared here are all about strength of character and rebuilding one's life almost like the phoenix rising from its ashes. Wise people here have advised looking for God's signs and hints as God does not always appear himself but may send an angel to help. This is sound advice . I have a few follow up questions though that I would love to get insight into.
1) How does one identify the hint/ trust the angel when one is already stressed about the situation one is in at the moment?

2) How should one establish that "connection" with God? I mean a Mother loves her child unconditionally and is always thinking about her child's well being, safety and prosperity. The mother does not verify if her child needs/ deserves all the attention and focus that she bestows upon them. The unconditional and selfless love of the mother drives her to do it all for the child. What can we do to gain that kind of motherly unconditional love from God that will make God shower all the love & blessings on us?

I know the questions may sound a bit childish because of the words chosen to express but trust me the intention behind asking them is totally spiritual.

 

Our mind stops work When we are in worry or fear. When we turn our worry into prayer and faith in God makes us calm down. We think wisely when our mind is free from worry and we look for ways or someone to come out from fearful situation. I think it able to identify hint and angel sent by God.

 

Mere worrying or getting frightened at the crisis in situ is of no use. With faith in Almighty or your tutelary deity, Look around that anything out of character appears or happens. It could be an object or live being that includes even birds and quadrupeds. That must be the hint. In the rage of diesel - the starting handle the driver weilded walking into pump is an object and at material time it's appearance is out of character.
The level crossing route is out of bounds and double decker halted for considerable time when there was no sign of power supply being restored. I noticed this as s hint and escorted the couple quickly to alight and be away.
A rat played and appeared at top/fourth floor a seldom happening then but driving this rascal out from my flat took all my energy and I felt effete. I used to be energetic which was the hint yet I proceeded to airport but fail to show up in good time. The rat was my Guardian Angel.
