    Preparation is as per the schedule. Now concentrating on maths. Waiting for current affairs material from Delhi..


    EDIT: replying here, instead of the solitude thread

    Syllabus change is for mains 2012, but slight preliminary changes is not ruled out. Traditional areas are left off(ancient history) and paper is becoming more and more current affair oriented.

    So do you prepare full time for this Upsc, eh ?? Great ...so you must have joined some coaching class?? Do you have any tips for me ??

    Yeah full time for the past two months or so. Took coaching for the optionals. I guess new syllabus doesn't need any coaching classes.

    Regarding tips, i suppose i can be qualified enough to give you some tips if i make it through, lol..

    My name was not there in the final list. So CSAT 2011 is the way to go.

    So keep trying. Was that your first attempt?
    BTW, you can give company for me for my preparation :)
    and may be we both can clear the exams together, next year. What say?

    I am going to give this year too. Pinning high hopes on the prelim since it can eliminate arts students, and thus mains will be less competitive. Thus 2011 is all about prelims.

    I have drawn out a timetable, and am starting today with Indian polity.

    You are not writing this year, are you?

    CSAT is an exciting preparation and no coaching centre has a clear idea about it, thus students themselves can do much better.

    No, am not giving it this year.. Next year only...
    Ya definitely CSAT will be easy for us compared to arts...
    You must have completed your engineering, right?
