Time is running out for the hasty

Wasting
Time, trying to hide behind this rhyme
So right
When you told me told me last time
A fake
Emotion, you were showing on the
Outside
Of the line, running away from it all
Hiding
The truth away from those that care
No longer
Denying the pain from here
Trying
So hard to be alive and aware
From a distance
We see you standing there
Hoping
To be hidden inside my
Head
As I write away on this sheet
Fooling
Myself with these words
Wasting
