Hello! I came across these photos of dogs under water and really liked them.
The Amazing Underwater Dog Photography of Seth Casteel | Facebook

They are by a photographer named Seth Casteel and his web site and FB page are listed in the link. I did not link directly as his web site is very slow and his FB album is a bit disorganized. Enjoy :)

The swimming lab is probably my favorite photo.[IMG]

LOL... Yes some of them look ferocious :) I guess normally, they get to the ball so fast that we never get to see their real expressions as they reach for the ball..

I think some breeds take more naturally to swimming than others. (retrievers, some kinds of spaniels, etc.. breeds that were especially bred to help hunt water birds) Might be that their body structure innately supports swimming.

There are some breeds in those photos that don't fit what I just said.. so I guess even dogs not bred for that purpose can learn to swim if opportunity arises/situation demands and if they happen to like water :)

Amazing, the pic of underwater dog really impressed me and I'm wondering that photography can be
    so sophisticated. So nice.
But would you like share some contact to the photographer. Actually, I want to appreciate him and want
to learn tips about the underwater photography.
