    Dear Daffodiill,

    You said it absolutely right. The love of a mother is unconditional and it should remain unconditional without any expectation. Deciding to let go at the right time in the interest of her own son or daughter is also important. Most of MIL/DIL problem is because of mother failing to realize when to let it go. The son/daughter's happiness should become a priority not only when they are young but also after they grow up.

    The unconditional love when it becomes possessive after someone comes to share their love is a problem. At the same time, the son/daughter should continue to shower their love on mother unconditionally as well.
