Two months of holidays for 8 yr old. Suggestions for creative classes to attend?

My son will be home during the month of October and November and I would like to send him for some creative classes to keep him occupied and to get him to learn some new skills in that time.

Some activities I had in mind were:
- Drawing & painting
- Basic music lessons and introduction to various instruments
- Ice skating
- Other outdoor activities

Can someone suggest places I could enrol him at or even private tutors who could come home and teach maybe mornings and afternoons?
Ofcourse, ice skating and musical instruments would have to be done elsewhere unless the tutor has access to their own set of instruments.

Sugestions ladies?
