    Hi shree,

I too felt the same thing while watching the movie. The fact is Kamal could not be recognised in some make-ups. I felt that it could have been some one else like they use dupes in fighting. The strength of the movie also is its weakness i.e fast moving scenes. So you are not able to really appreciate Kamal in one get-up fully. I felt that atleast four to five characters Kamal playing are redundant and they are there just to create the record. Kamal himself is talking of the hard work he had to put in doing the make-ups for several hours and to have different dictions and maintain the continuity etc. Yes, hats off to Kamal for that. But, they are not backed up by a good story and in the end we see not only ten Kamlas but also several good actors like Nagesh, K.R.Vijaya just paraded without aim.

    Love,

    Geetha Iyer

It is a good movie if we dont expect logic at various scenes. But Kamalahaasan has made lot of efforts to picturize his 10 roles that is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Friends,

Just back from GV Yishun, The movie 'Dasavathram' is running house-full; I was able to see few Chinese also in the movie hall. Being a small hall, the audio was too much.
My children were just closing their ears! Sub-titles were really a boon to many...hope they continue to do it for other movies too.

Then, regarding the movie what to say? I went & saw after reading all our ' IL' reviews.
I saw the movie without much expectation or logic it. Therefore, I was able enjoy it. As many feel one can watch the movie...for kamal's effort, hard work, sincerity & his devotion towards cinema.

    நாள்தோறும் நவரசம்....

    Dear SingILites

Hope you all know about the launching of a channel exclusively for Tamil, Puthu Vasantham in Singapore:cheers, with the tag line நாள்தோறும் நவரசம்....
Let us discuss about the programmes here!

The timings have been extended and the ads boast a collage of programmes with variety. I find that since it is the initial stage they are covering the early evenings with repeat programmes from the earlier TV12 and also the late 90s' tamil serials, which I findWitsend. However the interactive programmes like talk shows with specialist doctors, various technical professionals (which are yet to be on screen) shows some promise. However the previews are resembling the talkshows of Vijay/sunbonk. How they are going to balance is the key. Have to wait and watch.

What are your views on this gals?!

    Hi Vijee,

I like their song..has good beats.

About the shows, I dont really get to watch most of it. But last night I watched the programme 'samaithaal matum pothuma' and I liked it. The concept though had already appeared in Sun Tv, but here they've presented it differently. But as you say, many of their themes are ditto of our Tamil Channels back home.

    Bye
    Poornima.
