Re: Home Tutions hi i am also taking tuitions at home.you can take tuitions for all subjects for classes up to 10th.you can also take tuitions for maths and physics for classes up to 12th for science students. since you have done an MBA , if you are good at accounts, you can take classes for maths and accounts for plus two commerce students also. i would suggest to take tuition only for higher classes.both of you can benefit from it.it is more easy to handle high school students.also you can set a standard for yourself by taking classes for higher classes.you can assign 1 hour a day for each group.a group can be made according to their classes.4-5 groups can be there a day on convenient timings. the fees should be charged according to the syllabus.the more difficult the syllabus is,the higher the charges.fix the charges for each class and each syllabus before you announce the tuitions.you can find out the charges in your locality by asking around or one easiest way to find out the fees is to browse through the advertisements for tuitions in net and news papers and ring them up and ask how much they charge. i always do that. never settle for a low fees thinking that you are a beginner.always charge an average of what the other tuition teachers are charging,not too high and not too low.if you charge a low price,people will doubt about the quality of your class and if you charge very high they wont afford it. always highlight what you can do differently.books of authors like s.chand,manjeet singh etc are good for high school and science students. hope it helped.feel free to ask if you want any suggestions:thumbsup
