Trying to conceive with IBS

Hi friends,

Is it a good idea to conceive when u have IBS - Irritable Bowel Sydrome. Doctor suggests that it is fine and it is common.. but my friend tells that her doc asked her to get her IBS treated before she plans to have a kid as IBS causes irritability to food items , in my case with raw vegetables like carrot& cabbage , spicy foods , etc and it would be very difficult to pass thru pregnancy period.With a small mistake in taking the wrong food item , I end up vomitting & diarrohea . I am really confused .Does anyone have a similar problem...
