True Meaning of Life

Hi Friends,

I thank all of you for posting your valuable feedbacks for my first story "First Day At School' and also for the encouragement.
Here i am with my second story. Please do post in your feedbacks.


This story is about the life of Isaac and his family. Isaac's family includes his mother, two elder sisters, one elder brother and one younger sister. His father passed away when Isaac was in his early twenties. His mother Rebecca was a very strict person and she brought up her kids very disciplined though she couldn't afford to send them to school because of her financial conditions. Both his elder sisters were married and had kids. His brother John and Isaac were the bread winners of the family.

John was a plumber and an electrician but his earnings were not much but it helped the family to some extent. Isaac was a carpenter and also had some knowledge in building construction work. Both the brothers were somehow managing the family and one day suddenly Isaac's elder sister Jebba passed away due to cancer. They came to know about it only at the last stage and before they could proceed with any medication she left them.

Jebba's husband was working as a clerk in the state government and had two kids one boy and a girl. Since there were no one to take care of them, they all moved to Isaac's house. Days started to roll into weeks and weeks moved to months, like this three years passed away. Isaac's mother started to look for a suitable girl for John and it took few months for her to bring Rani has her daughter in law. Everything moved on smoothly for another two years. Jebba's kids became teenagers and started to manage their things slowly without troubling their grandmother or their uncles.

Rani gave the good news of her first pregnancy hearing this the entire family was so happy. Their joy multiplied when they came to know that they were twins. They were all in a different world with so much of happiness without knowing that the fate had got some thing else for them.
