    Hi hema_mas:

As far as I know, one needs to first get a urine test done. I presume that this has been done. And then, normally the doctor prescribes a course of antibiotic.

This apart you need to drink lots and lots of liquids, especially barley water and tender coconut water - these are recommended for urinary infections.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

You have to take some good anibiotics after consulting your doc. Having 1 cup of cranberry juice and 6-7 tumblers of water daily should definitely help to get rid of UTI in the long run....

    Hi

Citravescent - effervescent granules (Urinary & Systemic Alkaliniser) is very effective for Urinary tract infection. It comes in small sachets. Dissolve contents of two sachets in a glass of water and drink immediately. May be taken 4 times a day. Can be found in local pharmacy.

    Hi,

First and foremost consult your doctor. Drink lots of water, coconut water and eat green leafy vegetables.

    Regards, Amarpreet
