Travelling to toronto,thru frankfurt.Any experiences?

Hi ILs,

we are relocating to Toronto.so had to travel through frankfurt by Lufthansa.
since we are travelling with 13 month old baby,Iam bit tensed.:bonk

Can I carry some biscuits or baby food,water,milk for my kid?

Ladies please help me with your experiences with airlines,travel etc.

I have travelled thru that route many times and it all depends on your baby.

My son was easy traveler. He loved planes & plane journey, so it was easy with him. I would carry his fav. toy,fav. snack sealed. you can carry dry pwd milk in bottle and in plane they can provide hot water.

My daughter was not that easy. Even after carrying all things she was fussy & couldn't sleep.

Things have changed with Airlines so I would suggest call them & ask what you are allowed to carry with you.

I had travelled India-USA via Frankfurt to and fro (Lufthansa). Both times I did not have any issue in Frankfurt carrying baby food. I basically only had water (for mixing formula), Formula powder, fruit purees like carrot / apple.
At the security they did an extra check with my baggage, like opened up the bag and checked them, but no issues though.
But I was told by my friend who travelled via frankfurt, that they asked her to throw away her flask of hot water.
I am not really sure why, but things went fine in my case.

Thanks for peeping in sowmya.Iam already in Toronto now and even i didnt find any problem in carrying milk,water and some food stuff for my baby and for us also.But ofcourse in frankfurt, they did extra checks with my Hand bag.
