I have visited most of the countries in europe and many states in India... The places I have visited are France, Germany, Italy, Vatican city, Austria, Greece, Swiss, UK and Dubai. But after seeing these places I felt there are more such beautiful places in India that I am yet to visit. Here I am here to collect the places that can be visited on various occassion in India. Look at my own collection, and I am still exploring (not tired at all) a. Religious trip - more suitable for (g)oldies Ofcourse starting with Haridwar, amristar, dwarka till rameshwaram all the places are heavenly. But still there are places that are not known to many in south. I felt one of the must see place in south is chidambaram very peaceful much suited for aged people. Madurai is the must see where you can complete the trip dripping in many waterfallls nearby Mangalore is my favourite, visit the pleasant people there b. Family vacation - more suitable for children entertainment A different experience in Rajasthan, if you dont bother about climate Interactive beaches in Goa, you happen to say wow in each and every place. Cruise just amazes the kids Water falls everywhere in south just amazes me (I am not familiar on this in north) Manimutharu, baabanasam, paantheertham (the unique natural falls), agasthiyar are not known to many whereas the familiar one are kutralam, ayndharuvi c. Copules outing - as the name says Talk to me about east assam, i am much fascinated about this place, have you seen bluish lake with clear sky, well here you can see it... Check out any sites they are amazing and romantic (lonely is the more appropriate) outing is incomplete if i dont talk about boat ride in God's own country Kerala. It is definite to combine it with Munnar Agra beauty comes again - but depends on climate d. Friends days out - as the name says Its a mix of many trip. Goa is the place again for the friends of any age Wayanadu is the trip to heaven - trekking makes the place even more richer for friends WaterFalls look even more beautiful when we have our dip with friends Bangalore roads / Mysore beauty Ladies these are the places I have visited and to my knowledge and i have listed, now keep adding the places to the right category... Religious trip I had gone with my parents to Tirupathi,Mantralaya,Madurai,Kanchipuram,Rameswaram,Kanyakumari..few more not able to recollect now Maharastra>Tulajapur,Pandharpur,nira narsimha (near Pune),Kolhapur Karnataka>Udupi,Dharmastala,Subramnyam,Hornaadu annapoorna b.Family vacation Banglore,mysore,ShrirangapattanamKarwar,Goa,Kerala(Munnar),Hyderabad,secundarabad,Pune,Mumbai,chennai waterfalls>Jog falls,Satodi falls,Doodh sagar etc C.Couple outing:Ooty,kodaikannal,Goa..etc d. Friends days out:Goa,Mysore,Banglore,Murdeswara,Bijapur,alamatti,Badaami(In Karnataka),Delhi,Agra..etc(school trip). I was resident of Goa(Margao and vasco da gama) for five years.So almost I have explored Goa!!! There is still a lot to recollect.... Rgds

Wow thats a great list.. i have been to almost all the places too.. But for this summer, I am planning to visit Goa. Can you tell me the places for friends in GOA... You know friends outing is better in summer :biglaugh
I wanted to add to the list. 1. According to me the best religious place is shridi.. superb one 2. Couples outing: Majuli in east assam, Darjeeling are awesome place.. 3. Family/Friends trip: For summer definitely to Goa or some trekking...
Thank u for adding to the list onNerves..i have been to GOA.. I admire the scenic beaches and its clarity of sunset... wat not.. enjoy a stay in resort... And go for Sky scrapper rides... these are the things I enjoyed there....
