translation of kab ayenge woh!!!!!

    Hi one of my il friend has requested for a translation....(suttu pottalum hindikkum ennakkum romba dooram..that is what she has told me..)

    So here is the translation..but how far i have done justice...i am not sure....

    Those funfilled days with the children,the moments of laughter
    all those things we talked,are all still held in my eyes
    people think it is very difficult to wile away time.
    but his life is wiling away earning a few green notes.

    I make myself happy by seeing those snaps
    I pick up the phone to listen to his voice.
    but what should i tell my little kids to keep them happy..
    when they are sitting at the door waiting with eyes wide open...

    pankaj* sang the letter has come....
    He also listens to it when he is homesick...
    But what can i do, nothing but waiting...
    when will he back at my doorstep.....


    *...(It is a very famous song chitti aayi hai by pankhaj udhas in the picture NAAM ---about the nri's...that brings tears even today )..

    Even though i can understand Hindhi a little bit, but in poetic form, no way!

    I am fine. I was listening to this song of chitti aayi that is how this poem came about..veda is just joking...about me being seen in the poems sections...

    Nice that you like the translation...was wondering if i had done justice...
