includes a series of budget packages that cover the whole of the state or part of it.

    Utharayanam
There are two 7 nights/8Days north Kerala packages called Utharayanam.

One that moves from Kannur to Kochi.
through some of the famous tourist places like
Parassinikkadavu, Muzappilingad, Tholpetty, Silent Valley & Malayattoor.

    Second one moves from Kochi-Kannur
through Athirapally,Cheruthuruthy, Edakkal caves, Payyambalam & Kappil.

    Dakshinayanam
There are two 6nights/7 days South Kerala Packagescalled Dakshinayanam.

One that moves from Thiruvananthapuram to Kochi.
covering places like Kanniyakumari, Kovalam, Konni, Ramakkalmedu & thattekad

Other one in opposite direction through
Eravikulam, Thekkady, Ashtamudi & Padmanabapuram Palace

    Sundara Keralam
This cover the whole kerala in 11 nights/12days.

The biggest advantage is the cost!!
For 6 nights/7days package the cost is 7500 for two.

For 7nights/8days its rs.8750 for two.

    For 11nights/12days its rs.13750.

The tariff includes room rent, breakfast & tax.

It furthur says that these packages are not the only ones....
the packages can be customised & can be stareted from anywhere to any destination according to the travellers choice.

A Good beginning by KTDC to attract domestic tourists!

    Hi Friends,

    This is a useful post.
We recently had a fun filled trip to Athirapally in Chalakudi and enjoyed the riverside stays by taking private riverbed for baths.:drowning:drowning:rotfl We arranged it through TransitIndia.com as they operate customized tours as per our requirements.

Next month we are planning a trip to Wayanad through them as their service quality was satisfactory.

Hope it will be useful to those who plan Kerala tours.
