Tough Turmeric Stain on the carpet

I too had a same problem a while ago, i got the professional carpet stain remover from Walmart (actually i forgot the name.... it was some "Spot" cleaner or something). But the Stain remover does the Trick ....Try them.

 

Try Gonzo. Apply heavily and blot enough times until gone. I have had good success with this.

If it is only Turmeric stain , the best method is to dry it in Sun.It removes even tougher turmeric stains.I have tried it many times.

 

Yes allowing in hot son vanishes the stains.Some stains on my carpet were gone after sun exposure.

Try out.

 

I generally use vinegar for any stains. But if it doesn't work out try dishwashing liquid as it cuts down any kind of grease easily (like dawn or kirkland)

I did'nt have a problem with turmeric but i found Oxyclean to be very effective for lot of stubborn stains...even for soot.Hope it helps.

thanx for all the input. i too have a turmeric stain in my carpet i tried few methods but no use. anyways i will try some of the ways suggested here.

 

I use 'spot shot' for all carpet stains.. Works like a charm I think thats what vaidehi also was suggesting, not sure though!! You can also try Resolve or Oxy Clean sprays! Should work!!
