Tonsuring baby's head done at TTD temple in bengaluru ?

Hi All,

Have a baby boy who will be turning a year old in a few days time; need to tonsure his head...would love to do it in Tirupathi, but hubby is against it as v keep hearing socio-political unrests happening in n around Tirupathi, has anybody done the same here in bengaluru TTD temple. Wld also love if some of u cld suggest other temples in blore where they do the tonsuring. Looking fwd to all your valuable inputs

Hi,
We had our DD's third tonsure and ear piercing ceremony at tirumala 2 weeks back. There was less rush and it was peaceful.

Am not sure abt TTD , bangalore.

There is place called Chikka Tiruapthi, which is venakateswara swamy temple. looks like maintained by locals and TTD. You can check the website. There many people do Tonsuring for kids, who cant go to Tiruapthi.

From last one week, crows is increasing in Tirumala, which is taking 14hrs for darshan

there is verybigtemple near jayanagar 9th block inside the temple very big tirupathi balaji, srirangam perumal, lakshmi narasimhar sannathi and ghosalai etc., idont know they will allow all this. pl enquire. in jayanagar 9th block there is woodys hotel next to woody's hotel one street ends up with this temple street. i dont know the exact block. pl search the map insamsung note
